Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards, including statutory reporting requirements for insurance companies.
2. Premiums and Claims Processing
Manage the accounting for insurance premiums and claims transactions, including recording, reconciliation, and analysis. Implement robust controls and processes to accurately track premium revenue recognition and claims liabilities.
3. Reinsurance Accounting & Account Settlement
Handle accounting for reinsurance contracts, including ceded and assumed reinsurance transactions. Manage reinsurance account settlements. Reconcile reinsurance recoverables and payables, and ensure accurate reporting of reinsurance assets and liabilities.
4. Solvency and Capital Adequacy
Assess solvency and capital adequacy requirements to ensure compliance with regulatory capital requirements (Solvency II). Support financial modeling and stress testing to evaluate the impact of various scenarios on capital adequacy and solvency ratios.
5. ICS & Audit Support
Design and implement internal control frameworks to mitigate financial and operational risks. Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and explanations of accounting treatments and practices.
6. Regulatory Compliance Advisory
Assist with regulatory filings, disclosures, and communication with regulatory authorities as needed.
